OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) – An Omaha five-year-old rode the wrong bus for the entire route on the first day of school.
The child attends Fontenelle Elementary School at North 52nd and Spaulding. A school district spokesperson confirmed the five-year-old boy got on the wrong bus and ended up back at the school. Dispatch tells us the district notified police of the situation after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
“We are aware of the situation in which a student rode the wrong bus, stayed on that bus the entire route, was taken back to their school by the driver, and then got home safe,” OPS spokesperson Todd Andrews said.
