Omaha, NE- On Saturday, Omaha Police confirmed the identities of the two men found dead at a home near 48th and Farnam.
Action 3 News reported Friday that an ex-girlfriend of one of the men identified them as Jeff Wilke, 50, and Ron Wilke, 76.
OPD confirmed that information on Saturday.
Around 8:45 Friday morning, a neighbor called 911 after seeing a body lying near the front porch.
When police arrived, they searched inside and found a second body.
A very shaken up Deborah Magness came out to 48th and Farnam Friday afternoon looking for answers.
She said she used to date Jeff. He had recently moved into the home with his father, Ron.
The county assessor website shows the home is owned by Ronald Wilke.
"He thought his father was getting dementia." Magness said.
Neighbors said the two men kept to themselves.
One woman, who didn't want to be identified, said she last saw the two men on Sept. 7.
Police were still waiting for toxicology from the autopsy results before determining the cause of death.
Among the evidence taken Friday, was a stack of mail overflowing from a mailbox.
"I've never seen anyone ever really come or go from the house," said Taylor Owens, a neighbor.
"It's sad, my heart goes out to the family because of the loss," said Nick Pellman, another neighbor. "I hope there's some closure on this soon."
Police said they are not looking for any suspects in this case.
