Douglas County Sheriff's Office To Hold News Conference on The Andrea Kruger Murder Investigation
OMAHA - The Douglas County Sheriff's Office will update the public on the Andrea Kruger murder investigation, later today.
Douglas County Sheriff, Tim Dunning has scheduled a news conference at 3:30 pm Friday, KMTV Action 3 News will carry it live.
Authorities are investigating after they found the 33 year old mother's body in the road near the intersection of 168th and Fort around 2:00 am Wednesday morning.
Her car was missing.
Police say Kruger had just finished her shift as a bartender at the Deja Vu Lounge near 180th and Pacific earlier that night.
Officers found her gold Chevy Traverse abandoned in an alley near 43rd and Charles around 6:30 pm Wednesday evening.
Authorities say someone "made a feeble" attempt to set fire to the car.
Investigators are processing the car for clues.
