Photos Put Garcia in Omaha Area At Time Of Brumback Murders

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Police Department has released two surveillance photos.
A purchase on Garcia's credit card at Casey's General Store on Sherwood Dr in Council Bluffs on May 12th helped law enforcement recover these surveillance pictures.
Around 12:38 pm based upon Casey's General Store survallence video a man who appears to be Anthony Garcia is handing his ID to a clerk.
After recovering credit card records, Garcia did make a $22.59 purchase at the general store on that date, at that time.
The next purchase on Garcia's credit card comes at 2:26 pm. His credit card is charged $7.69 at the Wingstop restaurant at 71st and Pacific St.
Then at 6:58 pm Garcia checks into a Motel 6 located in West Des Moines. His credit card record shows a $52.26 charge on May 12th at that motel.
Officers found Dr. Roger Brumback and his wife Mary dead in their home on 114th and Shirley in Omaha on May 14th. A felony complaint against Garcia says the Brumbacks were killed on or about May 12th.
Garcia was living in Terre Haute, IN at the time.
At a news conference on Monday, Chief Todd Schmaderer said they had evidence that Garcia was in the area during the times of the murders.
Garcia is charged with the Brumback murders and the murders of Thomas Hunter and Shirlee Sherman in 2008. Hunter's father worked with Dr. Brumback in the Creighton Pathology Department. Dr. Hunter and Dr. Brumback were involved in firing Dr. Garcia from the residency program at Creighton.
