Lincoln, NE - New England Patriots Defensive Back Alfonzo Dennard is once again in trouble with the law. Lincoln police arrested the former Husker at 2:00 a.m. Thursday.
According to police, officers pulled Dennard over for straggling the lane lines near 50th and Normal Blvd.
Police arrested him for refusing a breath test and driving under the influence.
The police report says Dennard "emitted an odor of alcohol and displayed signs of impairment."
Dennard is already on two years probation and must serve a 30-day jail sentence next year and perform community service following his conviction of assaulting a police officer outside a Lincoln bar in April 2012.
Judge Stephanie Stacy issued a stern message to Dennard at his sentencing about his future behavior.
Neither the Patriots nor the NFL has commented.
