Omaha Man Dies after Weekend Drowning

Waterloo, Ne- Authorities say the 36-year-old man who was pulled from 2 Rivers Park near Waterloo has died.
On Sunday, Christopher Creekmore and his younger step-brother, James Duncan were jumping off a large log located just off-shore. Duncan came to the surface and realized Creekmore was unresponsive and floating down the Platte River.
Duncan and a stander-by were able to pull Creekmore to the surface. The stander-by, Michelle MacDiss performed CPR until medics arrived.
Creekmore was taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center by medical helicopter.
Rescue squads from Valley and Waterloo were called out the scene. An autopsy will be done later this week.
