College World Series Enforcement

CREATED Jun. 12, 2013

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Police Department has received a nearly $18,000 grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety to enforce alcohol related laws during the College World Series.

Officers will specifically be looking for minors in possession of alcohol and open containers around TD Ameritrade Park.

The extra enforcement will start Saturday June 15 and wrap up on Wednesday June 26.

Last year, officers ticketed 29 minors.  4 adults were busted for getting alcohol for a minor.  And 37 people were caught with an open container.
