Survivor of Fremont Crash is Improving
Omaha, NE - The family of Jake Burnside released a statement Monday saying Jake's condition is improving. He is now in serious condition at Alegent Creighton Health.
Jake was in a car with three of his friends last week when it rolled over on Old Highway 8 in Fremont. Those three friends, Jackson Blick, Tyler Walling and Trey Hansen, died as a result of that crash.
The Burnside family says Jake, "is awake, responding to questions and speaking to us. He's moving his arms and both his legs, which leads us to be very hopeful." They said doctors hope to get him into the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital as soon as possible.
The family also said, "thanks to everyone for your thoughts, prayers and support."
