Rain Pounded Omaha While Tornadoes Touched Down to the West
Omaha, NE - It came from the Southwest and threatened the metro once again. Booms of thunder, bolts of lightning and torrential down pour. Another round of storms that shook the Midwest.
In North Omaha lightning ripped through the sky and trees tossed into the street near 44th and Sprague.
Before the wicked round hit Omaha, the storm tore through towns to our west.
The National Weather Service reported multiple tornadoes in three counties west of Omaha. Clay, Howard and York.
In YouTube video shot in York you can hear the sirens and see, what looks like, a tornado.
For now it seems storms will stick around for much of Wednesday and possibilities for more storms linger Thursday, but its weather Nebraskans are no stranger to.
