Omaha, NE- "It's incredibly unfair, it's difficult to take."
A lingering criminal case hangs over Jennifer Curry and her family.
"To know that we did everything right that day and that because of the actions of another person being careless, speeding, not keeping their brakes up to date, moving over and yielding to emergency vehicles, our son was killed."
It's been two years and Curry says it still isn't any easier.
The family of four left Lincoln headed home to Bellevue in December of 2011. Seconds after merging onto the interstate a semi slammed into the back of their car, killing Jen's two year old son Aidan.
The semi driver, Leamond Pierce, was never ticketed and he hasn't been charged.
"We do feel like this is an open wound, every time we have to meet, every time we have to discuss, every time we have to push for something", adds Jen.
She's pushing the Lancaster County Attorney, Joe Kelly, to file charges against Pierce before it's too late.
