Semi-Truck Jackknifes At I-680/I-80 Split
Omaha, NE - Still no word this morning if the weather played a part in a crash that caused a semi-truck to jackknife at the I-680/I-80 split.
The accident happened around 2:30 Thursday morning. The driver was not hurt.
The crash caused a small fuel spill, so fire crews spent several hours trying to clean up the mess.
Police tell us the driver of the semi was eastbound on I-80, when he lost control in the area of I-680. The driver hit the center median and went across the eastbound lanes of traffic.
Tow trucks are on the scene to get the semi moved.
Omaha police officers are helping the Nebraska State Patrol as the road remains closed.
