Omaha, NE - Ex-Omaha police officer James Kinsella (in the photo: on the right) has been booked into Douglas County Corrections. He turned himself in around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Kinsella faces a felony charge of tampering with evidence. He also faces obstruction and theft, in response to a controversial arrest caught on video.

Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine says Kinsella got rid of a memory card from the cell phone used to record the arrest.

Action 3 News has also learned that Aaron Von Behren (in the photo: on the left), will likely just receive a citation since he faces only misdemeanor charges of accessory to a felony and obstruction.

Kleine says Behren coordinated the stories of the police officers who ran inside a family's house at 33rd & Seward.

A bond hearing is set for today at 1:30 p.m.
