Lincoln, NE - Nebraska lawmakers are moving ahead with a bill that would review new emergency technology and the state's 911 system.
Nebraska is looking at ways to make its 911 services better, so dispatchers can get more information.
Everything from video footage of a crime in progress to a cellphone photo of a car crash.
The state also wants to make sure they're ready for 911 texting services that should available next year.
AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon have agreed to make emergency texting available to more than 90 percent of U.S. cellphone users by May 2014.
