Ashland, NE- More than 100 students showed off their smarts at the Strategic Air and Space Museum Science Fair on Wednesday.

Claire Kresak, a 6th grader from Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools called her
project "Bacterial Invasion".

She found that Germ-X worked the best when it comes to killing bacteria compared to soap and wipes. She won the Judges'  Choice Award and said she had a blast doing this project.

"I love this project but the gross thing was growing bacteria really smells," says Kresak.

Andy Kwarcinski is also a 6th grader at Ashland-Greenwood. He learned what glue has the best bonding strength. "I thought super glue was going to have the best bonding strength, but really the best glue was this wood glue."

The competition draws some of the most talented students from the area every year.
