Omaha Police Sends Officers to Assist with Presidential Inauguration
Omaha NE. - The Omaha Police Department announced today they will be sending a small contingent of Police Officers to assist in the Fifty-Seventh Inaugural Ceremonies Presidential Inauguration of President Barack Obama, from January 19th through January 22nd, 2013.
This is the third time the Omaha Police Department has taken part in the inauguration
Omaha Police also took part in the 2009 inauguration, sending 10 officers.
The officers sent will be assisting in crowd control and other security measures being taken.
