Salvation Army Taking Applications for Holiday Help

Omaha - The Salvation Army's annual Christmas Sign Up start Wednesday, October 31st.

Any families who want to be a part of the Adopt-a-Family, Toyland Days and the Holiday food program can apply.

You can sign up at the The Salvation Army Lied Renaissance Center, 3612 Cuming Street at these times:
Wednesday, October 31st - Friday, November 2nd
     9 A.M. - Noon & 1 P.M. - 4 P.M.

Saturday, November 3rd
     9 A.M. - Noon

Monday, November 5th - Friday, November, 9th
     9 A.M. - Noon & 1 P.M. - 4 P.M.


Applicants must apply in person with the following information on hand: documentation of income; social security cards or birth certificates or Medicaid cards for everyone; applicant picture identification; and verification of address (dated less than 30 days). If you are applying for Adopt-a-Family, you must have a current phone bill (dates less than 30 days; no past due bills).
