Omaha, NE – Sarpy County deputies have made an arrest for Omaha police in a murder overnight in Northwest Omaha. Police have identified the suspect as 23-year old Gregory Dodds.
A deadly stabbing shakes up what neighbors say is a quiet neighborhood. It happened around 10 pm Monday night near 104th and Sahler.
When officers arrived, they found the man in his twenties, dead from a stabbing.
Omaha Police were on the scene gathering evidence and a knife we noticed was on the driveway.
Action 3 News spoke to a man who lives just a few doors down. He says he can’t believe something like this happened.
“I was shocked to see it, just because this neighborhood is really quiet. That's why I chose this place to move here until I find a home again. You never hear any yelling or any trouble here,” says Dave Ryan.
Dodds is booked for criminal homicide and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
