Justin started at KMTV Action 3 News in August 2012. Born and raised in the suburbs of the Windy City, Justin received a degree in broadcast journalism from Columbia College Chicago. He got his start in the news business as a field producer at FOX News Chicago. Before moving to Omaha, Justin was the primary anchor for the FOX affiliate in Rapid City, South Dakota. While working there, he was honored several times by the Great Plains Associated Press for excellence in enterprise and investigative reporting. In 2011, he was nominated for an Emmy after following two homeless men and documenting the difficulties they faced getting back on their feet. Again in 2012, he was nominated for a second Emmy for his story looking at the extraordinarily high suicide rates among children and teens on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in western South Dakota.
When not at work, you could probably find Justin plugging in some address into his GPS and checking out Omaha.
