I grew up in Irving, Texas with dreams of being a major league baseball player. Those dreams ended when I realized that playing in the majors required actual baseball talent. So, I decided to do the next best thing and cover players with actual talent.
I went to the University of Missouri-Columbia and graduated with bachelors in journalism. I am a die-hard Missouri Tiger fan. But don't fret Husker fans, I have always had a deep respect for Nebraska's storied athletic history. And I will admit, grudgingly, that Memorial Stadium is one of the coolest atmospheres to witness a college football game.
I started my broadcast career working for the Missouri Tiger Coach's show. Then I went to KMEG in Sioux City, IA. I helped build an award winning sports department. We covered everything from Hawkeye and Husker athletics to local high school athletics. Our sportscasts were recognized by the Associated Press and the NBNA.
Away from my job I enjoy watching action movies, playing basketball, and complaining about the Missouri Tigers not winning every game they play. I'm happy to be here in Omaha, and I'm excited to cover all of the local athletes.
