Kevin Bacon makes epic entrance on ‘The Tonight Show’

Kevin Bacon made what may have been one of the greatest talk show entrances of all time on Friday night’s “The Tonight Show” thanks to a “Footloose” tribute it took him all day to shoot with the show’s crew, a troupe of dancers and a gymnast stunt double for the star.

After host Jimmy Fallon noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of “Footloose,” one of the most beloved films made by Bacon, the current star of “The Following,” Fallon then announced the flimsy premise of the skit: that dancing had been outlawed on “The Tonight Show,” and backed it up with a paper proclamation.
Thirty years later, that idea still didn’t sit well with Bacon, who proceeded to “break the rules” with an epic dance segment that found him in two costumes resembling those he wore in the film, including his burgundy prom tuxedo jacket.
Watch the video above to see it all go down.
