Water receding on Araby Road in Palm Springs after flooding Tuesday afternoon.
PALM DESERT - An Afternoon storm swept down into the Cochella Valley from the mountains to the south, drenching parts of Palm Springs.
Palm Springs Police closed Araby Drive near Highway 111 after rocks and mud flowed down the canyon. No damage has been reported to residences in Araby Cove, but there is no estimate when the road may be reopened.
