KMIR, KPSE Signal Service Restored Following Storm Outage
PALM DESERT - Full signal service for KMIR Media, which includes KMIR6, KPSE MY13 and the Live Well Network in the Coachella Valley, is restored following a 36-hour service disruption caused during Sunday night's wind storm.
An electrical connection was severed during the storm between KMIR Media's transmission tower located in the hills above Thousand Palms and various television service providers and over-the-air antenna users. Southern California Edison was working to restore service as quickly as possible.
Service was fully restored as of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to Craig Marss, KMIR Media Vice President and General Manager.
KMIR Media says it appreciates the patience of its stations' viewers and regrets any inconvenience caused by the storm damage.
