INDIAN WELLS--Main draw play continued Thursday at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. The crowds multiplying as we get closer and closer to some big match-ups.
Everyone from Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andy Murray, and Novak Djokovic, out practicing as huge crowds gathered to watch.
On Wednesday we spoke with the top players in women's tennis and today I caught up with the number 2 player in mens tennis, Rafael Nadal.
"This period of the last 7 years for me was positive," Rafael Nadal said. "I have to think positive and practice as good as I can and compete everyday the same way and I think that's all that i can do. I say it always the same, I want to improve for me. I don't want to improve to beat Novak or to beat Roger. I try my best everyday to improve my level of tennis to be better player year-by-year, and if that's enough to beat Novak, fantastic. If not i'm going to keep working but when I wake up every morning and go on court for practice I don't think about Novak I think about the things I need to keep improving and I think about myself."
Should this years BNP Paribas Open draw follow the seeds, the semi-final on Saturday will feature defending champion Novak Djokovic against Andy Murray, and, Rafael Nadal against Roger Federer.
Both Nadal and Federer looking to reach the final at Indian Wells for the fourth time. Certainly a match up fans are hoping for.
