One day of relief from the heat

Thursday will be a very pleasant day across southern Idaho!  Highs in the valleys will top out in the upper 70s, and a breeze will blow out of the NW between 10 and 20 MPH.  Plenty of sunshine will abound, and dry conditions are expected to stick around.  Enjoy the cool-down, but don't get too used to it.  Temperatures will gradually warm back up to near triple digits by the beginning of next week.

For Thursday, there is a Red Flag Warning in effect for our Sawtooth region and also parts of the Magic Valley.  This is due to the very dry conditions, and the potential for locally gusty conditions.

The warm up starts to set in once again on Friday, with valley highs in the mid 80s.  Most of the Gem State should stay dry through the weekend, so any camping plans in the mountains will see warm and pleasant summer weather!
