A Cool Start to March

A storm will push south out of the region on Saturday evening, but before it goes, we will probably see a few rain showers drifting into Ada and Elmore Counties from the mountains Sunday evening. Winds will die down overnight and a few flurries are possible as well for the Treasure Valley before sunrise. Sunday morning will be cold, with lows in the 20s for much of the Treasure Valley. Sunday morning will be cloudy, but sunny skies will be back by Sunday afternoon. Expect Treasure Valley highs in the 40s.

A weak weather system will drift over the region on Monday and Monday night, bringing a few rain and snow showers to mountainous areas, but the Treasure Valley will remain dry. However, this system will bring another shot of cold air to the region. Tuesday will be cool and breezy, with Treasure Valley highs in the low to mid 40s.

A ridge of dry, warm air will start to build in on Wednesday and the weather will start to get warmer every day. Treasure Valley highs in the 40s on Wednesday should reach the 50s on Thursday and Friday, and then the 60s on Saturday. Skies will be sunny from Wednesday through at least Saturday.
