Today's outlook

  • One more day of summer-like temperatures and then a big cool down Video by IdahoOnYourSide.com

A serious cold front is bearing down on Idaho.

We get to enjoy summer-like temperatures for one more day, but a cold front will come through Tuesday evening, kicking up the wind and spreading some storms into the central mountains.  The breeze will also strengthen in the valley Tuesday afternoon, out of the NW at 10-20 mph.

These changes will cause temperatures to drop up to 25 degrees from the highs on Monday.  A few showers and storms are likely on Wednesday as well as some gusty NW winds.

For Thursday and Friday absolutely beautiful weather will move in with highs in the 70s. Expect 90 again by next Monday.
