Cooler conditions to close out March

Changes arrived early this morning when a cold front moved through the region, bringing gusty wind, more cloud cover, a chance of precipitation, and much cooler temperatures. Boise will drop about 15º from the high of 77º yesterday, and there is a chance of seeing a few rain drops this afternoon. Gusty winds will blow throughout the day, and there is a wind advisory in the Treasure Valley and Magic Valley from 2 this afternoon to 9 tonight because of the 20-30mph winds and 45mph gusts.

The Central Mountains will see cool and breezy conditions and showers today as well, with about 1" of snow accumulation expected above 7000 feet in the West, and no accumulation in the East, where precipitation will be mostly rain.

Temperatures continue to drop to the low 50s moving toward the end of the week, and we will see cloud cover and breezy conditions through the weekend.
