Near record highs

This week's warming trend brings us to the big finale today, with near record highs expected across the region. Boise will see temperatures reach 75º, with the current record of 78º standing since 1877. The mountains will see warm temps as well, about 15º-20º above average with plenty of sunshine.

A quick drop of 10º happens tomorrow and we will start the day with cloudy conditions. The mountains will see a rain/snow mix in the morning with temps still staying in the 50s, and drying into the afternoon. The Treasure Valley has a slight chance of seeing rain early in the day, but right now it looks like just a cloudy start with clearing in the afternoon.

The sunshine will make a return and dominate through the middle of next week with temperatures rising once again to the 70s by Monday, followed by another quick drop to the upper 50s Tuesday through Thursday.
