For most people, a close encounter with a tornado would be a terrifying experience. But for the men who shot the video above of Monday’s North Dakota tornado laughed their way through the experience, even as they shot the video from such close range that they were practically looking up into it.
The nearly three minute video includes a lot of NSFW language, the only indication that the men may have been truly alarmed as they realized it was too late to escape the twister. The man who posted the clip, Dan Yorgason, wrote in its description, “We were afraid for our lives, so, yes, we swore. A lot. You have been warned!”
The tornado touched down about six miles south of Watford City, N.D., on Monday. According to CNN
, it “damaged an oil field camp and destroyed at least a dozen recreational vehicles” at an RV park where oil workers were living.
Nine people were injured, eight with just minor injuries and one who was transported to a hospital in critical condition, the Weather Channel
