A magnitude-4.4 earthquake struck Southern California around 6:25 a.m. (PT) Monday morning, according to U.S. Geological Survey. It was centered six miles north of Beverly Hills.

The video above shows how it felt at KTLA's studios in Hollywood.
“No damage was reported from the quake,” according to USA Today, which reports, “It was the largest earthquake to strike near Los Angeles in years. Next to Los Angeles International Airport, the quake lasted several seconds, shaking furniture and causing ripples in swimming pools just as many Southern Californians were awaking.”
One aftershock of magnitude 2.7 had occurred, and the USGS says there’s a 5% chance a larger quake may follow in the coming days.
