Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson was recently prevented from boarding a flight from London to Los Angeles.
British Airways won't say exactly why she wasn't allowed on the plane, but sources say that it is because she admitted to using cocaine during court proceedings last year.
The 54-year-old Lawson admitted she had used the drug during the fraud trial of two of her formal personal assistants.
She has been invited to the U.S. Embassy in London where she could apply for a new travel visa to the United States.
Lawson is a judge for ABC's show "The Taste," which has been on for two seasons. According to The MailOnline, no decision has been made yet on whether or not the show is coming back for a third season.
After the incident, another celebrity chef, Anthony Bourdain, tweeted his support.
I am absolutely mortified with embarrassment over the cruelty and hypocrisy of US actions re: #Nigella travel. Unbelievable.— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) April 3, 2014
