Boise State's first football game of the season is still 98 days away, but the Broncos are out in full force this week, cultivating the future of the program.
The "Blue Experience" rolled into Nampa Thursday. Boise State football players, cheerleaders, and even Buster Bronco visited three elementary schools- Endeavor, Greenhurst, and Owyhee. Young fans had a chance to get some autographs from their favorite former players and compete in a mini-combine against them.
"When you can get players out here and allow these kids to run around and interact with the players, that's the most special," said former Boise State quarterback Taylor Tharp. "They just don't get to do that every day."
"For us, it's a chance to give back to the community," he added."Letting these young guys know how much we love them as fans and really try to grow their love for Boise State football."
