The Idaho Steelheads topped the Colorado Eagles 3-2 in a shootout Friday night, inching closer to clinching the four-seed in the ECHL's Western Conference.

Goaltender Josh Robinson made 37 saves, outdueling Colorado's Dustin Butler, who was forced to make 45.

Luke Judson and Gaelan Patterson scored goals for the Steelheads in regulation, and William Rapuzzi tallied the lone goal in the shootout.

Idaho will host Colorado in its regular season finale Saturday night at CenturyLink Arena.
