The Boise State football team practiced Monday morning for the first time since Saturday's shellacking in Seattle. Coach Petersen described the practice as "energetic."
Petersen added effort was not an issue against the Huskies. He said his team played hard, but wasn't able to make enough plays to keep the game close.
"A loss is a loss. There are no moral victories," said Petersen. "I mean, you lose by two points or you lose by whatever, it all feels the same to me. It's not like 'Okay, we were close.'"
"I don't feel one bit different than I did last year at Michigan State," he added. "We weren't good enough, and that's a bad feeling."
