The Idaho Steelheads were out-shot and outplayed by the Alaska Aces Wednesday night, losing 4-2 in game four of the Kelly Cup Western Conference Semifinals. Alaska leads the series 3-1, meaning Idaho will face elimination in game five Thursday night.

The Aces shot out to a 4-0 lead after twenty minutes of play, out-shooting the Steelheads 21-6. Captain Nick Mazzolini scored twice in the frame. Zach Davies and Evan Trupp also beat Idaho goaltender Josh Robinson, who was replaced by Pat Nagle after the first period.

David de Kastrozza and Brett Robinson scored Idaho's goals, but a comeback wasn't in the cards for the Steelheads, who were ultimately out-shot 45-20.
