Despite sluggish start, Broncos top Portland State

The Boise State basketball team matched its best start in school history with a win Friday night, as the Broncos topped Portland State 76-60 at Taco Bell Arena in front of a crowd of 6,345.

Derrick Marks and Ryan Watkins each scored 14 points, leading BSU to victory despite a sluggish start. The Broncos led just 34-30 at halftime.

Watkins pulled down 13 rebounds to record his third double-double this season. Anthony Drmic scored nine points, ending a streak of 13-consective games scoring in double figures.

Boise State (6-0) will host Utah (6-0) Tuesday night.
