Capital completes undefeated season, Twin Falls wins 4A Title

The Capital boys basketball team wrapped up a 26-0 season with a 63-53 win over Borah in the 5A State Championship Saturday night. The Eagles are the first 5A team since 1995 to finish the year with a perfect record. The Lions had won the last two state basketball titles.

Twin Falls thoroughly dominated Century in the 4A Championship, winning 46-29. Buhl edged Homedale in the 3A finale, 59-56.

In 2A, Firth beat Declo 58-48. Prairie won the 1AD1 title with a 78-43 rout of Challis. Salmon River escaped Ambrose in 1AD2, claiming a second straight title for the Savages courtesy a 63-59 victory.
