Broncos volleyball team drops match to Vandals

The Boise State volleyball team lost a heartbreaking match to the visiting Idaho Vandals 3-2 (16-25, 28-26, 14-25, 25-22, 15-13) in Bronco Gym Thursday night. BSU held a 2-1 match lead but was unable to put Idaho away in the fourth or fifth set.

Alyssa Gammel and Taylor Murphey led the Broncos with 14 kills apiece. Gammel added one assist, one service ace, a team-high 22 digs and one block solo. Murphey hit 25.8 percent and recorded four digs and four blocks.
The Courtyard Marriott Bronco Volleyball Classic continues through the weekend. Boise State (3-4) will face North Texas at 4pm Friday and Sacramento State at 12:30pm Saturday.
