The Boise State football team has just one practice left before Saturday's Blue and Orange Game, and it's slated to be a special one.
Coach Bryan Harsin has invited Bronco alumni to an open practice, starting at 4pm Friday. He said it wasn't the current staff or players that built Boise State's football program- instead, it was the blood, sweat, and tears of those who came through before.
Friday, Harsin hopes to give those alumni a chance to see what all their hard work has accomplished.
"That bond and that family and that unity that's built through here shouldn't go away just because you're done playing," explained Harsin. "You've built that through a lot of years with guys that have done the same things you've done."
"We've got a lot of players on our team who are really good," Harsin added. "Not all of them are playing in the NFL. So they're going to have opportunities outside of football when they're done. Well, guess what? There are a lot of broncos out there that are very successful that might be in a position to help these guys get started."
