On Thursday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers made UNLV's Anthony Bennett the second Mountain West Conference basketball player to be selected number one overall in the NBA Draft.
The 6'8'' forward led the conference in freshman scoring, averaging over 16 points and eight rebounds per game for the Rebels.
Four other MWC players were selected: New Mexico's Tony Snell (20, Chicago Bulls), San Diego State's Jamaal Franklin (41, Memphis Grizzlies), and Colorado States' Colton Iverson (53, Indianapolis Pacers).
