Former Boise State wide receiver Titus Young will be charged with three new counts related to his recent rash of arrests, bringing his total to 11.
For those of you keeping score at home, that's one more than the number of touchdowns he scored in the NFL.
Three of the eight original charges against Young are felonies, as is one of the new charges.
A judge doubled Young's bail was to $50,000, suggesting he is a threat to the public. Young's family reportedly believes it's best to leave him incarcerated for the time being to avoid further trouble with the law. Titus has been in jail since May 11.
The exact nature of the latest counts have not been revealed, since they haven't been officially filed yet. However, Young's attorney said they are related to the alleged attempted burglary that took place almost two weeks ago, in which Titus was nearly shot by the owner of the home he broke into.
