In the week leading up to the Oscars, movie critic Bob Richards put himself out there to pick the winners of the 5 biggest Oscar categories. Once again, he fared very well.
He nailed the pick for Best Supporting Actress, Anne Hathaway. Bob mentioned her name for the award the minute he first watched her in Les Miserables.
Best Supporting Actor was Bob's one folly. He picked Tommy Lee Jones over Christoph Waltz, but in the end, Waltz took home the statuette. We should mention, though, that Waltz was Bob's personal favorite; he thought the Academy would go with Jones.
Bob also got it right for Best Actress. Who didn't know Jennifer Lawrence would win?!
Best Actor got Bob another point on his scorecard. As he predicted, Daniel Day-Lewis took home a record-setting third Best Actor Oscar for portraying Abraham Lincoln.
Finally, Bob finished with yet another good prediction. Ben Affleck's Argo won best picture.
