BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A Wilder woman faces a vehicular manslaughter charge for a crash in Caldwell this summer that killed her passenger.
The Idaho Statesman reports Amanda Contreras Rodriguez is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.
Charging documents say Rodriguez was under the influence of alcohol and methamphetamine on July 6 when she crashed on a closed road in Caldwell. Her passenger, Manuel Cortez, died at a Boise hospital that night.
Court records say Rodriguez was traveling about 90 mph and said she did not notice signs that said the road was closed before she crashed.
