Vandals strike Indian Lakes Golf Course twice in less than a week; damage estimated at $24,000
Indian Lakes Golf Course which was vandalized over the weekend is now looking at an additional $20,000 in damages after vandals struck again.
Someone drove a truck across the fairways and greens sometime in the early morning hours on Tuesday.
In addition to putting deep ruts into the turf, whoever drove the truck also badly damaged a sand volleyball court. The truck ripped the volleyball net down and knocked over one of the net poles.
The vandalism only comes a day after when vandals broke into the clubhouse, stole beer, drove a golf cart into a water hazard, and broke flags on marked holes. That damage is estimated to be about $4,000.
