Section of Boise Greenbelt should finish soon

BOISE - A viewer emailed On Your Side to find out what's taking so long for a section of the Boise Greenbelt to get paved near his home. Less than a mile of the Greenbelt near Willow Lane has been closed off for paving since last August. Jake Legler wants to know why it's not done yet.
"They closed this path in mid July and no work took place until mid August," Legler told On Your Side, "Some days there would people here, some days there weren't."
We contacted Boise Parks and Rec who told us the delay is thanks to good old Mother Nature.
"The contractor has been working to get it done, unfortunately there's some additional work that had to be done on the path," says Toby Norton project supervisor for Boise Parks and Rec, "From there we went straight to winter, into rain. We were scheduled to pout as early as this week, as everyone knows we got a lot of rain so we had to postpone again."
Norton says if the good weather comes back next week concrete should be poured soon, and that section will be completed by the end of the month.
