After being closed for more than a year the iconic Owyhee Building in downtown Boise will re-open this Wednesday.
The grand opening will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Crews have been working hard to renovate the 105-year-old structure.
They have replaced windows, improved the exterior of the building, and converted the hotel's interior to public meeting spaces and some much-needed downtown housing.
Clay Carley, a partner in the work, said he hoped the building's exterior would speak to the past, while the interior would speak to Boise's future.
