UPDATE: Police find evidence of gunfire near Les Bois Junior High
UPDATE:Boise police are looking for whoever is responsible for firing four shots into a door of Les Bois Junior High around midnight Thursday morning.
Two cars can be seen entering and leaving the parking lot in the school's surveillance video.
Around 1:30 p.m. Thursday , one person reported seeing a light skinned teenage boy firing a gun nearby toward Trail Wind Elementary School. Another person reporting that they heard what they believed was a gun shot.
Police are unsure if these incidents are related. As a result of the shots fired report, both schools were put on lockdown as a precautionary measure.
Trail Wind Elementary and Les Bois Middle School are not in session, but Trail Wind Elementary School principal Deborah Watts says around 60 students were in the school at the time as part of a child care program at Trail Wind. Children have since been safely reunited with their families.
Police continue to search for the driver's of those two vehicles, as well as the male described to them as a "light skinned male, 15 - 18 years old, blonde hair, 5'10" - 6' tall, slender build, approx. 170 pounds, wearing a grey and white jacket with a white shirt underneath, light blue jeans and white tennis shoes."
