Police have arrested five people wanted in connection with the weekend shooting death of a young Nampa man.
Police found 25-year-old Pedro Martin, Jr., in a Nampa drugstore parking lot early Sunday morning suffering from an apparent gun wound. Martin was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died.
Police initially sought four persons of interest in the crime -- ultimately arresting and charging five people in relation to the incident.
James Whitewater faces a charge of first-degree murder.
Natalie Whitewater, Wayne Canaday, and Allison Yancey face charges of aiding and abetting aggravated battery. Yancey was found and arrested in Horseshoe Bend Monday.
Police have also charged Joshua Price Wasserburger with aiding and abetting first degree murder. Wasserbuger was already in Canyon County Jail. He was booked on Sunday for an unrelated arrest warrant.
Nampa Police credited citizen tips and the cooperation of several agencies for the quick and safe capture of the suspects in this case.
