Police: Armed and dangerous suspect remains at large following Caldwell home search
Police say Fabian Salinas, 26, of Caldwell, a documented gang member, remains at large following the search of a Caldwell home Monday.
Around 2 p.m. Monday, officers and a SWAT team responded to a home in the 10600 block of Gossamer Street, after they received information that Salinas was in the home and threatening a resident.
Officers were also told Salinas had a gun. Police surrounded the house and spent several hours searching the residence, but there was no sign of Salinas.
K-9 teams from the Meridian Police Department and the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office helped with the search.
Police say Salinas is wanted for aggravated assault on a police officer, felony eluding, aggravated battery, burglary, and felony drug possession.
They consider Salinas armed and dangerous.
