A bit of history unveiled at the Ada County Courthouse today. Abraham Lincoln signed the law making Idaho a Territory. And now -- there will be a permanent place for his son to live on in Idaho as well. The Robert Todd Lincoln furniture suite went on display Friday at the courthouse.
Former Idaho Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General David Leroy worked hard to bring the furniture to the courthouse lobby.
"This is truly a historic event in terms of our country... our country’s history and where Ada County will likely want its citizens to remember for a long long while," Leroy said.
In addition to his other achievements -- Leroy is also a historian, even writing and contributing to several books... Including one about Abraham Lincoln.
