Idaho State Police find 3.3 pounds of meth during traffic stop

Idaho State Police have arrested two Twin Falls residents after the discovery of several pounds of meth.

On Thursday, July 10th at 9:49 a.m., an Idaho State Police trooper pulled over a car on Interstate 15 at milepost 117 near Idaho Falls.

A K-9 drug dog was deployed to search the vehicle which eventually lead to the discovery of 3.3 pounds of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, two semi-auto hand guns and one revolver.

Kimberly Rose, 18, of Twin Falls and Uriel Ortega, 25, of Twin Falls have both been arrested for felony drug trafficking and have been booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
