Idaho Gives receives grant total of $782,862
The final numbers are in following the busiest day ever for the Idaho Gives project. Through generous donations from residents across the state of Idaho on Thursday, the 24-hour event shattered 2013's final total.
In 2013, Idaho Gives raised $578,735.44. As of Friday morning, the total donation totals for yesterday finished at $782,862. Donations came from 12,388 contributors and the money went to more than 576 organizations. The Idaho Humane Society topped the Large Nonprofit Scoreboard category with $23,815, the Boise Bicycle Project netted $13,660 in the Medium Nonprofit Scoreboard and the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway History Preservation Group led the way with $6,205 in the Small Nonprofit Scoreboard.
