Firefighters were able to contain the Hell Roaring fire on Sunday at about 90%. The fire was roughly 325 acres in size.
Approximately 158 personnel are committed to the effort including 3 crews, 2 helicopters, 2 engines and miscellaneous support personnel. No structures have been lost and none are immediately threatened. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Highway 75 is now open. An area closure remains in effect on the western side of Highway 75 directly across from the Williams Creek Trailhead which includes the Hell Roaring Trail and the southern portion of the Forest Road 210 from Hell Roaring through Decker Flat.
