Flash Flood Warning in effect until 11:15 a.m. Tuesday

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Flash Flood Warning for North Central Ada county and Southwestern Boise County until 11:15 a.m.
A thunderstorm near Boise is moving northeast at 20 miles per hour.
Locations Impacted Include, Boise, Garden City, Aldape Summit, the Bogus Basin Ski area and Hidden Springs.
Flooding in the Boise Foothills is possible with storms.
Residents near the gulches and streams coming out of the Boise Foothills should monitor the situation closely and be ready to leave the area if waters rise quickly.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses, as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
